The
Trion electrostatic filters remove fine till very fine particles from the air,
like tobacco smoke, dust and polls, but also bacteria and even some virusses.
These filters are very well suitable to remove cigarette smoke from public rooms,
which will be dictated by law in 2004.
The units can be mounted to the ceiling (and fit in system ceilings) or to the
wall.
Working principle
The unit is self-sucking. First the air passes a mechanical pre-filter and is
then ionized in high voltage electrical field.
The particles in the air get an electric load, and will be attracted by the
aerhed collector plates.
In this way particles with a diameter from 0,01 micron can be removed from the
air.
The collector plates can be cleaned easily in a diswasher.
