CQM working priciple


The cleaning principle is based on overdimensioned sponge rubber cleaning balls, that are pressed through the condenser tubes by the process flow.

The cleaning cycle starts after a certain time interval.

Injection: the air valve opens; compressed air pushes the water out of the Injector, which flows through the Collector and takes the cleaning balls into the condenser inlet.

The flow velocity forces the cleaning balls through the condenser tubes. Because the diameter of the cleaning balls is slightly bigger than the diameter of the tubes, they scrape the dirt from the tube walls and clean these inside.

CQM working principle

Collection: the cleaning balls are collected after the heat exchanger in the Ball-Trap.

The Drain valve opens, which causes a water flow from the Ball-Trap to the Collector and Injector. The cleaning balls stay behind in the Collector, where they remain until the next cleaning cycle.

The complete systems works without moving parts; it functions with only 2 automatic valves and check valves.
